With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Zimmerli of Jackson, Minnesota, who passed away on April 2, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Cook (W. R.) and Selma Marie (Peterson); her husband Dana, Jr.; and her brother Elwood. She is survived by: her son Dana Wayne; her daughter-in-law Ann; her granddaughters, Tanya Cramer (Jon) and Christina Zimmerli Libertini (Adrian); and her son Matthias.

“Dana & Ann- Your mom is an inspiration to us. I will never forget their unconditional support when we served as pastor. We got connected to Red Bird because of Dana & Dorothy. They were always willing to serve in any capacity and championed new ideas, even when they might not have whole heartedly believed them. I suspect she wrote the bulk of her obituary-so Dorothy. We still have the ornaments she made. May you know God's peace. I know she does. Randy & Sandy Koppen”
