He was predeceased by: his wife Janice; his son Kevin; his sister Lavonne; his brother-in-law Thomas A. Thompson; his brother Orville Joul; and his brother-in-law Donald Johnson.
He is survived by: his close friend Janice Johnson of Benson, MN; his children, Tamara Erickson (Keith) of Elk River, MN, Rebecca Tatsumi (Kurtis) of Sheldon, IA and Steven Joul (Brenda) of Sartell, MN.; his grandchildren, Katrina Erickson Leo (Pete), Phillip Erickson, Dr. Janna Erickson, Samuel Erickson, Krista Tatsumi Honermann (Paul), Kristopher Tatsumi (Tiffanie), Maura Joul, Bethany Joul and Nicholai Joul; his great grandchildren, Brett Tatsumi, Hayden, Charlie Honermann, Lilly, Landon and Maddie Leo; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Johnson, Marcia Braaten and Marilyn Joul. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Masks are requested to be worn during the visitation and the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
