He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hegg and Martha Ruth Hegg (Leslie); his granddaughter Stephanie Hegg; his siblings-in-law, Janice and Robert Nirschl; his nephew Matthew Olson; and his parents-in-law, Agnes and David Stene.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Ronald Arlo Hegg (Thomasina) and Barbara Jean Nascene (Kyle); his grandchildren, David Hegg, Jessica Verly, Oliver Hegg, Alyssa Bainbridge, Taylor Bainbridge, Nicolas Bainbridge, Tiffany Heisler, Carissa Nascene and Kylie Nascene; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Hegg, Avery Bainbridge, Savannah Hegg, Nathan Wigmore, Atlas and Athena Bainbridge; and his siblings, Vern Hegg (Sharon), Lila Gunderson, Ella Harthun (Floyd), June Johnson and Eddie Hegg.
