He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Stubbe and Anna Stubbe (Schwartman); his daughter Denise; and his brothers, Marvin and Vern.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine McMartin; his children, Bernie Stubbe (Jan) of Jackson, Ron Stubbe of Walnut Grove, David Stubbe (Laura) of Jackson, Donna Peters (Doug) of Sherburn, Alice Casper (Jim) of Orlando, Deb Cornell (John) of Canby and Diann Johnson (Gregg) of Plymoth; his sisters, Ione Haddican of Marion and Arlene Helgager of Marion; and his close friend Nina. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
