He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hornick and Irene Hornick (Amsden); his brother-in-law Vincent Mathiowetz; and his niece Rita Pomerenke. He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Sorensen (Ardy); his grandchildren, Tristan Cale (Emily Buysse), Hayden, Jase and Addy; his son Nathan; his sisters, Mary Elwood, Patricia Mathiowetz, Colleen Fischer (Michael) and Rhonda Sampson (Dave); his niece Kasi Hornick; and also, Mike Tordsen, Jason Elwood, Greg Mathiowetz, Gary Mathiowetz and Troy Mathiowetz.
