He is survived by: his children, Joe Semler Jr. (Becky) of Isanti, Pete Semler (Patty) of Oak Grove and Peggy Smith (Kurt) of Alaska. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
