He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thompson and Mildred "Millie" Thompson (Gibbs); and his sister Patricia Bowman (Thompson). He is survived by: his sons, Shane Thompson (Lisa) of Milaca, MN and Shannon Thompson of St. Joseph, MN; his significant other Dawn Stevens of Isle, MN; his grandchildren, Amanda Janecek (Matt) of New Richmond, WI, Cameron, Zachary Thompson of St. Joseph, MN, Dennis and Henry Thompson of Milaca, MN.; and his great grandchild Wyatt Janecek of New Richmond, WI..
