He was predeceased by: his wife Ella; his son William; his parents, Melvin Burmeister and Helen Burmeister; and his parents-in-law, William and Vesta Owen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beckie Burmeister (Don) and Shelley Kunde (Jeff); his grandchildren, Heather Burmeister (Mike) and Missa Kunde (George); his great grandchild EllaMae; his brother Duane Burmeister (Maggie); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Anderson and Jean Witter.
