He was predeceased by: his father Delbert VanHecke; and his father-in-law Edwin Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Diane VanHecke (Leach); his wife Deb; his daughters, Lillian and Addison; his mother-in-law Linda Nelson; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Nelson (Kim) and Brian Nelson (Alyce). He is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & Close Friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cambridge Lutheran Church (621 Old Main St N, Cambridge, MN 55008). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at 410 Railroad Ave SE, Isanti, MN 55040.
