He is survived by: his children, Lyle Matteson (Mary Ann) of Gilbert, Jerry Matteson (Mary) of Palo, Larry Matteson (Judy) of Aurora, Rodney Matteson (Maggie) of Eveleth, Ricky Matteson (Diane) of Hoyt Lakes, Julie Salo (Bill) of Gilbert and Gaye Lossing (Dan) of Gilbert; and his close friend Joyce Wilson of Iron. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
