He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Mero and Gertrude Mero (Hall); and his brother Tim Mero. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Pamela Wolf (Gary), Michelle Riedel (Paul) and Karyn Roszak (Tim); his grandchildren, Aaron, Lauryn, Ryan Roszak, Daniel and Megan Wolf; his sisters, Gerry Chapdelaine (Don) and Mary Mero; and his sister-in-law Kathy Mero. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
