He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Frances; his sister Linda; his son-in-law Frank Shackelford; and his sister-in-law Judy.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Marie Shackelford, Larry Jr. (Ester) and Michael (Pollyanna); his siblings, Paul, Maryann, Alice and Jim (Kathy); and his brother-in-law Ron Graham. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to the Disabled American Veterans.
