He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Randy Gillette. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Pam Gnan (Kurt) and Mary M. Hawemann; his grandchildren, Melissa Sperl (Mike), Jennifer LaPointe (Jeff) and Christopher Gnan; his great grandchildren, Charlotte LaPointe, Morgan Sperl and Jace Sperl; and his sisters, Jeanne Hawemann and Joanne Gillette.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred the Minnesota Wisconsin Collie Rescue.
