He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wallert and Eva Wallert (Schander); and his sisters, Verna Thoele and Delores Thoele. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Scott Wallert (Erika) of Waconia and Julie Sickler (Chad) of Rosemount; and his granddaughters, Hailey Sickler and Brianna Wallert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran Church in South St. Paul, MN or the American Heart Association.

We really enjoyed our long visits with Ken while he was at the care center. He reminisced about his family, his work in a public school system, and serving at Grace Lutheran church and more. Before we knew it, two hours had passed! We are sorry that we will not be able to attend Ken's funeral, for we are in Texas. Heartfelt prayers, Ken & Dar”
