It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Lavis Peterson (Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota), who passed away on January 28, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her significant other Randy Teare; her children, Laura Bradford (Jerry), Karl Bradford (Kristen) and Sarah Franssen (Michael); her grandchildren, Cassandra, Robyn, Elaina, Theo and Lydia; and her great grandchildren, Ava Grace and Lily.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the World Wildlife Fund in honor of Karen's deep appreciation for the natural world.
