He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac and Alice; and his siblings, Cliff, Bob, Ron and Maxine.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn; his children, Eric, Julie (Brian), Ryan (Amber), Mark (Kelly), Laura and Tom; his grandchildren, Brooke, Everett, Alice, Clare, Rose, Mabel and Joseph; and his siblings, Rosie, Jenny, Geri Sullivan, Judy, Lucy Burger and Mike.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
