He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sr. and Evelyn; his brothers-in-law, Don, Ted and Bob; his son-in-law Robert Cox; and his son Robert Allen.

He is survived by: his wife Jacquie; his children, Charles, Debra Herzog, Sheryl, Sara Cox and Tiffany Dux (Mike); his grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Teionna, Nina, Delaney, Nicholas, Preston, Adam Dux (Dayna), Kate Jewell and Jonah Dux; and his sisters, Evelyne and Jackie. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out in Howard's name to the V.A.
