He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Laak and Clarice Laak. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, Randi (Wendy Haggerty) and Robbi (Susan); and his stepchildren, Mark Venem (Sara), Todd Venem (Julie) and Beth Jacobs (Jim). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Neighbors, Inc. or Amazing Grace Lutheran Church.
