She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Terry and Mattie Bell Wilson Terry; her husband John E. Jay, Jr.; her daughter Dana Jay Walker; and her siblings, Mary Dalton, Charlene Ragsdale, Jeff Terry and Edward Terry.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rebecca Birk (Nick) of Sunfish Lake, MN, Daniel Walker (Tracy) of Woodstock, IL, Peter Walker (Kristy) of Vista, CA and Maggie Walker of Rotterdam, Netherlands; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Delaney, Katy, Harriet, Scarlett, Cora, Sydney, Luka and Max; and her nieces, Carole Haynes and Sandra Sharp. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
