She was predeceased by: her sons, Mike (Elaine), Nick, Peter, Mark and Tom.
She is survived by: her sisters, Isabel Olman and Millie Olson; her children, Lis Thurber (Dale), Paul (Betty), Margaret Hylton (Mickey) and Ann Reinhardt (Daryl); her daughters-in-law, Sharon, Betty, Kay and Kathy; her siblings, Mary, Helen, Eva and George; her former husband Gerard LaPointe; her children, Michele, Nicholas and Elisabeth; her friends, Diane and Jan; and her sister Mitzi Vold. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She worked as a punch card operator at Adams Burke, as a nurse's aid at Wilder Foundation, and worked as an in-home care nursing aid for Home Services Inc., one of the first in-home care agencies.
