He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria. He is survived by: his children, Linda Kleven, Susan Hastings (Don), Peter Bondy (Annette), Alison Bondy and Pastor Tess; and his cousin Vivian. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons.

Memorials may be given to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, the USO or the Wounded Warrior Project.
