He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Ardis Horge, Earl and Connie Oien; his aunts, Maxine Holm and JoAnn Dietrich; and his uncle Wendell Oien.
He is survived by: his parents, Betty Jean and Wally Oien; and his sister Amber Dee Oien of Halstad. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
