With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Nick Smerika of International Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on July 31, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nick Smerika and Elizabeth Smerika (Palynchick); his wife Helen Jean Hegvik; his children, Katherine Bracken (Patrick) and Stephen (Jill); his granddaughters, Molly Smerika, Samantha Smerika (Paul Rouhselang), Alexandra Bracken (Joshua Kirton), Natalie Grafft (Ryan) and Sophie Bracken; and his great grandchild Evelyn Grafft.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no services held at this time.
Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Falls Education Foundation/ Purple Pride.
