It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Lea Haney (International Falls, Minnesota), who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Patterson and Beatrice Patterson (Long); her husband Francis Haney; and her siblings, Bernice Fleming, Lenore Wilson, Madge Haney, Alice Patterson, Madree Burnett, Arnold, Edward, George and Gordon Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Haney (Sherry) of Ray, MN, Dixie Haney of Baxter, MN and Bonnie Mekash (John) of Roseau, MN.; her grandchildren, Kelly Haney, Jacob Haney (Cindi), Scott Mekash (Brittany), Emily Summach (Taylor) and Cierra Mekash (Jesse Jacobson); her great grandchildren, Matthew D'Elia, Tenley Harbott, Junia Summach, Ezra Summach, Sullivan Jacobson and Jensen Jacobson; her sister Marlene Patterson of Washington; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Haney of Colorado, Jeanie Haney of Minnesota and Marge Haney of Washington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
