It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Lynn Holmestad (International Falls, Minnesota), who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrie Larson and Mildred "Millie" Larson; her stepfather Roy Anderson; her sister Barb Nankivill; and her parents-in-law, Obert and Sally Holmestad.
She is survived by: her husband Dick; her sons, Wayne (Margaret) and Jonny Bird (Anna); her siblings, Gwen Gambino, Rowna Hunt and David Anderson; her grandchildren, Mindy O'Brien (Gary), Cody Holmestad (Jessica), Haylie, Hayden and Starling Bird; her great grandchildren, Berkley, Kenley, Bowen, Kacen and Kal; and her pet Skye.
