He was predeceased by: his brother Alfred Wayne Hanson. He is survived by: his parents, Scott Hanson and Deanna Hanson (Holman) of Warroad; his sisters, Samantha of Fargo and Elizabeth of Grand Forks; and his grandparents, Delbert, Linda Hanson of International Falls and Sandy Holman of Gemel.
