She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Scheela and Eloise Scheela; her former husband John Marsolek; her brothers, William Scheela of Bemidji and Walter Scheela of Indio, CA; her children, Bruce Gibson (Bonnie) of Rochester, Sherry Jacobson (Gary) of Austin, TX, Patti Middendorf (Jim) of Clayton, CA, Gail Johnson (Dan) of Pine River, Marcia Seibert (Keith) of Chaska, Donnie Gibson (Kathy) of Rochester, David Gibson (Sue) of Rochester, Diane Hart (Gary) of Olathe, KS, Cari Schultz (Jim) of Rochester, Jill Williams (Jay) of Owatonna, Scott Gibson of Oronoco and Susie Bauer (Steve) of Faribault; and her grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Sean Gibson, Bethany Schwalbe, Libby Gagne, Gunnar Jacobson, Luke, Isaac, Kendra Middendorf, Willie, Drew Johnson, Katie Cichy, Molly Medenwaldt, Nicki Blazevic-Seibert, Jodi Cossitt, Amy Seibert, Angela Robinette, Tony Gibson, Kelly Kranz, Maggie Campbell, Erin, Laura, Gina Gibson, Ryan Helling, Sarah Hall, Jesse Hart, Jacob Schultz, Cali Salley, Melissa Richer, Alec Williams, Samantha Ryan, Mitch Gibson, April Kanzenbach, Chase and EllieBeth Bauer. She was also cherished by 48 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 health concerns, masks are required at all services with proper social distancing measures.
She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease six years ago and lived in several senior housing facilities in Rochester.
