It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Carol Schwartz (International Falls, Minnesota), born in Roseau, Minnesota, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odin Olson and Ida Olson-Lundeen (Kihlstadius); her husband Jerome Schwartz (Jack); her sons, Delroy and Jerry Schwartz; her great grandchild Julian Kittelson; her sister-in-law Leona Otto; and her brother Leland Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Jodie Hardwig (Cam) and Paul Schwartz (Angie); her grandchildren, JoJean Kittelson (Andy), Jeena Schmit (John), Alex Schwartz (Charity), Anah Eddy (David), Megan Schwartz and Jerrad Holenko; her great grandchildren, Jenaya Kittelson, Jayden Ginter, Jacksi Ginter, Sawyer Schmit, Skyler Schmit, Ella Schwartz, Aleah Schwartz, Lucy Holenko and Aubrey Holenko; her nieces and nephews, Lorne (Sheila), Brad (Marci), Danny (Deb), Nadine, Lori and Brian; and her sister-in-law Marlys Olson. She is also survived by her family, friends.
