It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Schattschneider (International Falls, Minnesota), born in Richmond, Minnesota, who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ed; her parents, Tony Merkling and Jean Merkling; her brother Robert Merkling; and her nephew Clinton Bahr.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan (Jeff True); her grandchildren, Allison True Jones (Jack Jones) and Jonathan True (Laren); her great grandchildren, Grace, Blake Jones and Jensen True; her sister Linda Bahr; her sister-in-law Shirley Merkling; and her brothers, Tony Grandbois, Shelly Trappe (Doug) and Steven Merkling (Trish).
