He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathilda Piekarski and Tony Piekarski; his siblings, Ronald and Diana; his brother-in-law Leroy Tveit; and his brother John.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Dean (Dawn), Doug (Robyn), Debrene Lepage (Larry) and Katherine Olson; his grandchildren, Destiny, Danielle, Andrew, Jourdan, Elena, Dustin, Seth, Casey, Weston, Charleigh, Gannon and Alec; his brother Bob Piekarski (Jaci); and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Weiberg, Poncho Forsythe (Val) and Dick Forsythe (Liz). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
He suffered with Alzheimer's in his later years, but he still liked to joke and could still play cards.
