It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Mary Butts of International Falls, Minnesota, born in Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sykes and Jeanette Sykes; her husband Lonnie Butts Sr.; and her siblings, David, Danny Sykes and Connie Morey.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Butts (Jo Ellen), Lonnie Butts (Sammy), Becky Janssen (Todd) and Kim Nuthak (Chuck); her grandchildren, Niki Sether, Dylan Janssen, Aaron Davis, Garret Davis, Lucie Kennedy and Kylar Butts; and her brothers, Mike Sykes and Bill Sykes (Robyn). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
