She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Skar and Glenys McHugh (Janssen); her stepfather Larry McHugh; and her husband Kermit Hanke. She is survived by: her children, Julie (Stan) of Eugene, OR, Michael Palmer (Patti) of Eugene, OR and Terri Richards (Todd) of Eugene, OR; her grandchildren, Kevin Palmer, James Palmer, Amanda, Nick, Sara Fitzgerald and Kayla Outka; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Austin, Jaxon, Ryker, Jordy Outka, Deegan Fitzgerald, Jordon Palmer, Joshua Palmer, Mikey Palmer and Remi Palmer; and her brother Jerry Skar (Josephine) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (400 Franklin St SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
