He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Knaak and Dora Knaak (Borman); his sister LaVerna Horsch (Jerome); his stepson Bryan Robertson; his great grandchild Bryan Levi Bach; and his nephew Alan Horsch.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Knaak of Stewart, MN; his children, Andrew Knaak (Ashley Weller) of Stewart, MN, James Pessek, Jr. of Stewart, MN and Thomas Robertson of Stewart, MN; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Robertson (Vaughn Johnson), Bryanna Bach (Ryan) and Zachary Robertson; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Thomas Bach Brothers, Alvin Knaak (Irene) of Stewart, MN and Elroy Knaak (Betty) of Stewart, MN. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (300 Croyden St, Stewart, MN 55385). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
