With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Orvis N. Baumgardt of Hutchinson, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Baumgardt and Feola Baumgardt (Leske); his daughter Lorrie Odegard; his siblings, Dale Baumgardt (Delores), LaVonne Klitzke (Alfred) and Millicent Simpson (Maurice); his brother-in-law Delwin Schrupp; and his nephews, Dean Klitzke, Burton Klitzke and Steve Baumgardt.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Baumgardt of Hutchinson, MN; his children, Scott Baumgardt of St. James, MN and Susan Warnemunde of Rapid City, SD; and his siblings, Wayne Baumgardt (Virgene) of Glenwood, MN and Audrey Schrupp of Minnetonka, MN. He is also survived by Grandchildren; Great-grandchildren.
