She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Brittain and Nelie Brittain (Smith); her former husband David Gehrke; her parents-in-law, Elton and Grace Gehrke; and her stepdaughter Christine VanderVoort.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Peterson; her children, Stacy Messner (Keith) and Eric Gehrke (Kari); her stepdaughter Bridget Block (Jon) of Hutchinson, MN; her grandchildren, Mitchell Messner (Sadie), Alex Messner (Jessica), Madilyn Gehrke and Morgan Gehrke; her stepgrandson Ethan Block; and her sister Nell. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (430 5th Ave SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
