He is survived by: his children, Troy Elder (Sheila) of Hutchinson, MN, Tracy Knight of Zimmerman, MN and Trent Elder of Hutchinson, MN; his grandchildren, Arica Forsti, Payton Knight, Marley Knight, Madison Elder and Maisy Elder; his siblings, Merle Laird of Mankato, MN, Harold Elder (Peggy) of Hutchinson, MN, Mary Garoutte of St. Clair, MN, David Elder (Val) of Hutchinson, MN and Rusty Elder (Lisa) of Mankato, MN; and his brother-in-law Robert Miller of St. James, MN. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
