Kaitlin R. Jensen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kaitlin R. Jensen of Hutchinson, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Antony "Tony" Jensen; her grandparents, Maynard, Rose Marie Jensen and Vernon Rodacker; and her uncles, Tim Lange and Carl Jensen.

She is survived by: her mother Denise Jensen (Rodacker) of Hutchinson, MN; her brothers, Ryan Jensen of Woodbury, MN, Nathan Jensen (Rebecca) of Monroe, NC, Aric Jensen (Elena) of Hutchinson, MN and Gregg Jensen (Nicole) of Hutchinson, MN; her nieces and nephews, Freya Jensen, Odin Jensen, Charlotte Jensen, Asher Jensen, Alistair Jensen, Sasha Jensen, Seraphina Jensen, Tim Volkov and Julian Volkov; her grandmother Marilyn Rodacker of Harlan, IA; her aunts and uncles, Patricia Lange of Sibley, IA, Diane Jensen of Sibley, IA, Jay Rodacker of Harlan, IA and Jon Rodacker (Jeanne) of Harlan, IA; and her cousins, Daniel Lange (April), Jennifer Runge (Chris), Elizabeth Sims (Andrew) and Christian Lange (Kimberly). She is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (1040 S Grade Rd SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350). When the pandemic caused nursing homes to ban in-person visits, she could not bear to see the effect and decline in her residents and she took on administrative positions with Adara Home Health; first as the staffing manager and later as the authorization specialist. As the pandemic restrictions eased, she knew she needed to get back to where her heart and passion were; directly caring for dementia and Alzheimer's residents.
