We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, George Retzlaff of Hutchinson, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Retzlaff and Anna Retzlaff (Schlueter); and his siblings, Ervin Retzlaff (Florence), Dorothy Konietzko (Ken), Elmer Retzlaff, Milan Retzlaff (Arlene), Alvin Retzlaff and Daniel Retzlaff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Carter (Dion) of Hutchinson, MN and Michelle Franzeen (Tim) of Buffalo Lake, MN; his girlfriend Linda Peterson of Hutchinson, MN; his grandchildren, Kyle Krattenmaker (Amanda Haik) of Litchfield, MN and Ali Simmons (Mitch) of Darwin, MN; his great grandchildren, Lydia and Hunter Simmons of Darwin, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Retzlaff of Cosmos, MN and Virginia Retzlaff of Hutchinson, MN. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Dobratz Hantge Funeral Chapel (899 MN-15, Hutchinson, MN 55350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (1040 S Grade Rd SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350).
