He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Martin and Mayonne Martin; his grandparents, Harold, Ester Martin, Otto and Della Homburg; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Shirley Duesterhoeft; and his sister-in-law Vicki Villebro.

He is survived by: his wife Lori Martin (Duesterhoeft) of Hutchinson; his sisters, Carol Telthoester (Dick), Jan Hausladen (Butch) and Nita Klima (Gary); and his brothers-in-law, Scott Duesterhoeft (Stacy), Ken Villebro and Marnita Van Hoecke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
