He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bullert and Martha Bullert (Weerts); his father-in-law Harry Bemo (Evelyn Bemo); his wife Barb Bullert; his siblings, Waldemar, Gilbert and Marlene Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Ruby Bullert, Carole Gernand, Kathy Corcoran Kramer, Eugene Thompson and Robert Corcoran.

He is survived by: his sons, David Bullert of Mankato, MN and Mark Bullert (Lora); his grandson Luke Bullert; his siblings, Everett Bullert of Long Prairie, MN and Leatrice (Max Ziwisky) of Princeton, MN; and his sister-in-law Ann Bullert Hanson of Annandale, MN. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
