He was predeceased by: his cousin Dustin Bolander. He is survived by: his mother Kristin Boys; his sister Brookelyn Boys; his stepparent Ryan Erickson; and his grandparents, Peter, Cindy Ellanson, Mark Boys, Lucy Lara and Dario Garcia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
