He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Maiers (McGraw) and Henry Maiers; his siblings, Mary Jean Maiers, Daniel Maiers, Paul Maiers (Margaret), Joe Maiers (Sally), Jack Maiers (Dottie), Loy Maiers (Lucille), Virginia Weis (Jim), Stanley Maiers, Raymond Maiers (Dolly), George Kuttner, Brenda Maiers of Brennan Maiers, OSB, Maureen Rubischko and Patrick Maiers (Judy); and his granddaughter Angela Grace Maiers.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Thomas of Mark's Catholic Church; his children, Jean Maiers of New Ulm, MN, Kevin Maiers (Michele) of Hutchinson, MN, Terry Maiers (Karen) of Buffalo Lake, MN, Brian Maiers (Mary) of Shakopee, MN, Don Maiers (Roxanne) of Hoffman Estates, IL and Wayne Maiers (Pam) of Arlington, MN; his siblings, Theresa Kuttner of Stewart, MN, Gen Maiers and Gracemarie Maiers; and his sisters-in-law, Lou Paul of Waconia, MN, Delores Klehr and Jeannine Maiers of Buffalo Lake, MN.
Memorials preferred to St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart, or St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson.
