It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Johnson Nygaard of Hugo, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandson Ryan Johnson; her husband Clayton Johnson; her mother Lucy Kratz; and her husband James Nygaard. She is survived by: her children, Michael Johnson (Kathleen), Deborah Hawthorne (Michael), Thomas Johnson (Shannon), Kristine Salmi (Derek), Karen Hollingsworth (Stephen), Gary (Sue), Jerold (Jojie), Susie Schlosser (Pete), Darrell (Lisa) and Dan (Vicki). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

To honor Pat and her longstanding service to the community parks to which she was so dedicated, the family asks that, in place of flowers or gifts, a donation be made to the Roseville Central Park Foundation, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, MN 55113.
