It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Utecht of Hugo, Minnesota, who passed away on May 2, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Utecht and Jeane Utecht (Desmond); and his brother Ken Utecht Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty (Flom); his sons, Michael (Mary) and Patrick Wharton Tx (Kelly); his grandchildren, William, Stephanie, Dakota, Drake, Dylan, Bobbie, Jonathon, Madison and Laura; his siblings, Sue Lorentz, Fran Herauf (Leroy), Kevin, Ann Johnson (Mike), Peter and James; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Utecht. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations preferred to St. Jude Children's hospital.
