She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis Peterson and Bid Peterson; her brother Robert Peterson (Bob); and her brother-in-law Gary Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Jill Demco (Tim), Julie Stella (Mike), Jim Vomela and Joe Vomela (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ashley Severson (Cale), Mallory Sandberg (Ryan), Aaron Pillar (Jessica), Allison Vomela, Maggie Vomela, E. Patrick Stella, Ethan Pillar, Dominic Stella, Lily Stella, Anthony Vomela and Annie Vomela; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Severson, Kjerstin Severson, Gerald Pillar and Cecilia Pillar.

Internment at St. John's Cemetery (5446 147th St. Hugo, MN) immediately after Mass. Memorials in Mary's name are welcome and may be made to Church of St. Genevieve, Centerville, MN.
