He is survived by: his wife Betty Mae; his brothers, Robert of Rocky River, OH and Charles of Genoa, NV; his children, David (Yoshie) of Atlanta, GA, Cindy of Hibbing, Robert (Lesa) of Mahtomedi, Paul (Nancy) of Mendham, NJ and Eric (Lisa) of Mendota Heights; his grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy Brandt, Allison, Madeline Brandt, Erik and Christian; and his children, Stefan Kildal-Brandt, Isabel and Erika Brandt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service of song and celebration will be held in Hibbing in June, as the COVID-19 pandemic wanes; details will be announced when arrangements have been made.
