He is survived by: his close friend Mary Armstrong; his children, Chris, Eric (Jodi), Kathy Welch and Kelly (Greg); his grandchildren, David, Jeret, Justin, Jacob Welch, Emily and Mitchell; and his brother Bill Olson (Jean).
