Averbeck of Hugo, Minnesota, born in Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ahrendt and Alice Ahrendt (Lawrence); and her brothers, Garry, Billy, Doug and James.
She is survived by: her former husband Jeffrey Gilles; her husband Donald of Hugo; her children, Nicole Peters (Adam) of Ellsworth, Chad Speilman of Colorado and Enya Averbeck of Faribault; her sister Lynn Ahrendt of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Addison, Dawson, Nevaeh Peters and Klarck Averbeck; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Ahrendt of Red Wing, Deb Dehoog (Joost) of St. Paul and Tom Averbeck (Kathy) of Vadnais Heights. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
