He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert Rupert and Elsie Rupert; his wife Lulu; his daughters, Mary, Carol and Marie; and his sisters, Merle, Kit and Dolly.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Hibben of Hoyt Lakes and Lois Jane Myers (Harold) of Hoyt Lakes; and his siblings, Elmer, David, Mae, Gladys and Irene. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
