It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mattson of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Mattson and Helen Mattson (Heinrich); his uncle Wally; and his aunts, Gladys Mattson and Clarabelle Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sherman; his children, Robin Mattson (Toni) of Hoyt Lakes and Shayla Mattson of Aurora; his grandchildren, Matthew Mattson of Little Falls, Jared Line of Aurora, Jade Line of Aurora and Margaux Mattson of Hoyt Lakes; his brother Charles Mattson (Lynda) of Gilbert; and his siblings-in-law, Allan Sherman (Lavonne) of Grand Rapids, Virginia Trumble of Grand Rapids, Sandra Warmbold of Grand Rapids and Lucille Katzenberger (Louis) of Sterling, AK. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews; and five cousins.
